Social Ventures Institute

The Social Ventures Institute (SVI) is a global platform designed to develop and scale social ventures that address local poverty reduction challenges. In partnership with leading business schools and the Global Business Schools Network (GBSN), SVI equips students and entrepreneurs with the skills, experience, and resources needed to turn innovative ideas into sustainable, scalable solutions.

The Institute brings together three integrated labs: the EPIC Innovation Lab, which develops new social venture solutions; the Social Franchise Lab, which helps proven ventures develop models for sustainable growth and replication; and the Social Impact Fund Lab, which prepares students to identify and assess social ventures for potential impact investment.
 

Together, these programs create a pipeline from innovation and venture development to social franchising and investment, helping build businesses that create jobs while delivering affordable social impact to low-income communities around the world.
